Business Data Licensing

We represent the business.

AI companies want to license real business records. BS DATA works for you, not them. We find interested buyers and negotiate the terms, and a vetted partner removes identifying details before anything moves. We never hold your raw data.

Why now

Every resolved ticket, closed deal and approved change order is a record of judgment. AI models learn from exactly that, and most of it is sitting in your inbox, unused.

Record lab

See what a buyer actually gets.

Pick a record type, then flip the switch to see the version a de-identification partner prepares. Names, contacts and payment details change. The work itself doesn't.

What a buyer learns from it

Where it usually lives

Beyond names

Swapping names isn't enough on its own. The partner also reviews each record for other details that could point to a person, like a street address or a one-of-a-kind job title.

Buyer demand

Fit check

Are your records a fit?

Buyers value data very differently, so we don't quote prices before one is at the table. This tells you whether a conversation is worth having.

Archived vs. licensed

Same records. Two outcomes.

Who does what, and when.

Most of the work sits on our side. Your records stay in your own systems until a buyer has signed a license you've approved.

FAQ

Fair questions.

If yours isn't here, bring it to the call.

Industry matters less than the records. Trades, clinics, agencies, logistics and service businesses all produce useful data. What counts is volume, history and whether conversations reach a clear outcome.

It depends on your customer contracts, privacy notices and local law. We go through that with you before anything is signed, and some records will be ruled out. This isn't legal advice, and your own counsel should review any license.

No. Raw exports go from you directly to a vetted de-identification partner, who prepares and delivers the records. BS DATA handles the deal, not the data.

It depends on the deal. Sometimes the fee comes out of the license payment, sometimes the buyer pays it on top. Either way it's disclosed in writing before you sign.

Not on its own. A detail in a message can still point to a person, so the partner also reviews for that kind of context before delivery.

Then nothing happens. Your records never left your systems and you owe nothing. No license is guaranteed, and we'll tell you what would make the dataset more attractive later.

If you choose to. Many buyers ask for exclusivity for a set period, and whether to grant it is your decision for each deal.
